We are delighted to introduce you to many new faces, as the Miller team continues to grow.

Rebecca Harvey D&O

Rebecca has recently joined Miller’s D&O team; she is a producing broker with a specific focus on North American Directors’ and Officers’ Liability. Her primary role at Miller is to design and place comprehensive D&O programmes with both London and International markets for clients in North America.

Joining from Besso, Rebecca has 9 years’ experience of working with both wholesale and retail business, not limited to just North America but expanding into Australian, European and UK business – providing solutions to clients on a global scale. She specialises in providing clients with solutions on ‘hard to place’ business, working closely with insurers to ensure that tailored programmes are made with the client in mind first and foremost throughout the placing process.

James Martin Motorsports

James has recently joined Miller’s sports team, he is a sports & entertainment broking specialist, working with global clients across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, to create bespoke insurance placement strategies and structures within the London insurance markets.

James joined Miller from James Hallam Ltd. and with over 30+ years’ experience, he specialises in physical damage on track racing cover and has built an impressive portfolio of professional level motorsports business. He is responsible for producing and placing business for professional motorsports entities, being racing teams, racing drivers, event organisers and national and international governing bodies, across all levels of world motorsport.

He also has experience in placing personal accident cover and event liability, event cancellation, motorsports cargo and storage all risks, and associated risks placed into the wider marine and commercial markets.

In his spare time, James enjoys open water swimming.

Michael Edwards Caribbean Property & Casualty

Michael has recently joined Miller’s Property & Casualty team as Head of Caribbean Property & Casualty, his role is focused on developing business in Caribbean territories, further growing Miller’s client base and network in the region.

Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, and has held roles at several global brokers, both in the UK and Barbados. Prior to joining Miller, Michael was at AmWins Global Risks, he has also held roles at Tysers and Co. and HSBC Insurance Brokers.

He has expertise in both Direct and Facultative Caribbean Property insurance.

Charlie Lunn Caribbean Property & Casualty

Charlie has recently joined the Property team within Miller and specialises in securing risk transfer solutions for clients on both direct and facultative business through strong relationships with the international insurance and reinsurance market.

Over the past 10+ years Charlie has structured solutions for businesses with both catastrophe and non-catastrophe exposures ranging from small, single-island risks to large, complex placements throughout the Caribbean territory.

Charlie’s career to date has been focussed on the Caribbean region, which has enabled him to develop a strong appreciation and understanding of the unique complexities of each Caribbean Island.

Charlie graduated from the Newcastle University in 2011. He began his career at Cooper Gay & Co, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance.

In his spare time Charlie has a keen interest in both playing and following many different sports, including golf, football and cricket.

Joshua Leach Professional Risks

Joshua has recently joined the Professional Risks team, where his main focus will be on the North American territory, working with the US housing market.

Having previously worked for A-Plan insurance (part of the Howden group), Joshua has experience working with all aspects of personal lines insurance, specifically home and motor insurance, as well as commercial policies including employers’ and public liability insurance.

Joshua has an IF1 and IF8 qualifications and is studying for his LM1 & LM2 exams.

In his spare time, he is a very sporty person – playing and attending as many sporting events as possible!

Lee Bonner International Professional Risks

Lee has recently joined Miller as Head of Broking in the International Professions team.

With over 30 years’ broking experience, he has previously worked for a large scale international insurance broker.

Lee’s main area of expertise includes Professional Indemnity exposures affecting high value international construction projects, including surveyors, large architects, and engineers.

Chris McRobert Energy Onshore

Chris has recently joined Miller’s Downstream Energy team, with over 15 years’ experience of placing individual and global insurance programmes for energy companies and contractors operating in Canada, USA, South America, Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.

He joined Miller from Marsh and has extensive technical knowledge, working with the full spectrum of energy clients, from small single site operations to fully integrated National Oil Companies (NOCs).

Chris also has experience with Casualty and Upstream Energy insurance, as well as Construction, Marine and Financial Lines. He has also co-ordinated and presented Energy Training seminars globally.

Chris holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Surrey, is ACII qualified and has recently passed the required Belgium Insurance Exams to be allowed to work on EEA business from the UK.

Outside of work, Chris is keen football fan, holding a season ticket for Norwich City FC and likes to get out on the Golf Course when he can.
